Wiltshire Council Charging Policy for Adult Social Care
Understanding the effect of new charging arrangements on people's lives, introduced by Wiltshire Council in 2016.
Following implementation of the new charging arrangements (agreed in July 2016 by Wiltshire Council), feedback from Healthwatch Wiltshire resulted in Councillor Jerry Wickham, (portfolio holder for adult care services) commissioning more engagement to understand the effect on peoples’ lives.
This report looks at the findings of a questionnaire, focus groups and a public event, followed by a meeting with the Financial Assessments and Benefits team.
It also includes our previous report into changes to the Charging Policy from earlier in 2016.
