What young people think of health and care services

Between September 2019 and March 2020, we went out and about talking to young people aged 16-25 about the work we do and gathered their feedback about local health and care services.

We asked young people to think of the last time that they used a health or care service and to think about:

  • What was good about the experience?
  • What was OK and what could have been improved?
  • What really didn’t work?

A total of 197 young people took part and gave us feedback on a range of services, including GPs, mental health, hospitals and dentists.

We also asked them to think about services they felt should be available to support their physical and mental health needs in the community and recorded the suggestions they made.
