The opening hours will continue to be regularly reviewed depending on what the demand is for the service.

Cllr Richard Clewer, Leader of Wiltshire Council, said:

“Just like during the height of the pandemic, the cost-of-living crisis is likely to affect most people one way or another. We really don’t want people to suffer in silence so if anyone needs us, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. No query is too small, and our dedicated team will do what they can to help and ensure people have the information they need.

“The cost-of-living crisis is likely to affect people who perhaps haven’t required support before, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.”

“The hub supported thousands of people during the pandemic and our warm and friendly team are standing by and ready to help again.”

Wiltshire Council also recently set up an interactive community directory which informs people where their nearest warm space and local community food providers are by just selecting their postcode area. Libraries are providing people a warm and friendly welcome to those who need it this winter by becoming warm spaces.

The council has also collated a range of information and guidance on a variety of cost-of-living related topics such as energy, council tax and benefits, housing information, the support of local partner agencies, and advice on mental health.
