Stacey Plumb, Manager
"It’s my role to manage the team and oversee the day to day operations of Healthwatch Wiltshire. We go out and engage with the public to listen to people’s experiences of health and care services, to find out what they like and what can be improved. I also oversee the volunteering programme. Volunteers are vital to our work, and are involved in many activities, including Enter and View and Community Engagement."
Julie Brown, Engagement Lead
"Working with our volunteers, it’s my job to get out and about and talk to local people about their experience of using health and social care services in Wiltshire. I then collate what people have told us and make sure that the key messages reach commissioners and providers of services – our aim is to make sure that local people’s views influence how services are managed and planned. At present, one of my main focus areas is dementia, there are about 6,500 people living with dementia in Wiltshire and we are working to ensure that the views of people affected by dementia are heard and can make a difference for the future."
Linda Webb, Communications Lead
"As Communications Lead my role is to make sure the people of Wiltshire know about us and the work we’re doing. This includes making sure our website and social media channels are up to date, writing press releases and newsletters, and creating reports and presentations. My key focus in the coming months will be to launch a brand new Healthwatch Wiltshire website, so watch this space! I also support my colleagues by getting out and about collecting your feedback on health and care services."
